Events and Performances

The Knoxville Pipes and Drums plays a number of  events. In addition to the events anticipated for this year listed on our Performance Schedule page the band has also performed at Smokies Park, Neyland Stadium with the University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Marching Band, Dollywood, and festivals and parades in Knoxville, Cookeville, Dandridge, Elizabethton, Pigeon Forge, Jonesboro, Jellico, LaFollette and other communities in the region. Along with donations from sponsoring organizations, these appearances help the band provide free piping and drumming lessons and purchase kilts, drums, chanters, reeds, and other band equipment. The band practices every Monday evening at Knoxville's Scottish Rite Temple at the corner of 16th Street and White Avenue near the University of Tennessee campus. Contact John Rose, Band Manager, to arrange for the band at your event.
